# Visual Studio 2015 RTM is due July 20th

In Soma's announcement, he said "[Visual Studio 2015](https://www.visualstudio.com/vs-2015-product-editions) is a big release. We are opening up Visual Studio to developers targeting new platforms – from cross-platform mobile development targeting iOS, Android and Windows, to game development targeting Unity, Unreal, Cocos and more. At the same time, Visual Studio 2015 redefines developer productivity with proactive diagnostics tooling and the new Roslyn language services for C# and VB. And together, Visual Studio 2015, Team Foundation Server 2015 and Visual Studio Online help teams to embrace DevOps with great agile backlog management, Azure cloud tooling, hosted continuous integration, and Application Insights across all the components of your application."

There is going to be an online event on July 20th as well where you can learn about the new features and technologies. There will be live, interactive Q&A sessions with the folks who developed the products and much more. Update 7/7/2015 - Per Brian Harry, [TFS 2015 and Release Management 2015 will not RTM on July 20 ](http://blogs.msdn.com/b/bharry/archive/2015/07/07/team-foundation-server-2015-rc2-available.aspx)as originally planned but they are very close to having them it ready. Reading the tea leaves, TFS 2015 will ship soon after the RTM date but there hasn't been a projected date for RM 2015 yet.
