Kicking off MS Ignite, the keynote discussed Microsoft’s technology roadmaps, diving into specific areas. “What stuck with [Herman] most from Satya Nadella’s opening was the focus of everything Microsoft doing is on the user.”

On Day Three, Herman discussed two great sessions. The first session was “on how and why you shouldn’t run as a local admin in Windows.” The second session was on “what’s new in OSD for Configuration Manager and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).” For more in-depth information on the sessions, view Herman’s blog and a video here.
Herman says Day Four was his best day, and that “one of the great things about a conference like Ignite is the opportunity to meet and talk to so many people across the industry.” The first session of the day was with Mikael Nystrom and Johan Arwidmark discussing Expert Level Windows 10 Deployment. Next, was a session on the new Business Store Portal. Finally, “the day wrapped up with an Ask the Experts for Windows 10 Deployments session.” Read more here for detailed information on each session.
